About Us

Company Overview

Black Mountain Minerals PTY LTD is a South African mining services company headquartered in Fourways, Johannesburg, with a fabrication and heavy engineering base in Brits, North West Province. We design, build, and commission chrome washplants entirely in-house — from concept and drawing to steel and commissioning.

Our core strength lies in the design and manufacture of gravity spiral concentrator plants — a proven, chemical-free beneficiation technology for chrome ore. We produce both modular pilot-scale plants (24 TPH) and full commercial installations exceeding 100 TPH, with all steel fabrication, sandblasting, and protective coating carried out at our own facility.

Beyond washplant manufacture, we operate a multi-service mining group encompassing plant refurbishment and relocation, internal heavy haulage with our own fleet, mineral trading across five commodity classes, and active gold mining claim development in Zimbabwe through our Epoch Mine property — a 1,000-hectare gold-rich formation with a USD 35M+ portfolio valuation.
